Dedicated to the Dedicated Awards now open

NGS Super’s 2015 Dedicated to the Dedicated Awards offer up to six $5,000 scholarships to members who are dedicated to making a lasting contribution to the education sector.

Now in their fifth year, the scholarship awards continue NGS Super’s support for the Australian independent education sector. They allow successful applicants to complete a study tour, professional development course or a project of their choice.

Anthony Rodwell-Ball, CEO NGS Super, said the awards give NGS members the opportunity to complete worthwhile career development while also contributing to the betterment of their schools and the sector at large.

“We believe that support for teachers is critical in the continued improvement of our education system. These awards allow NGS Super to support the professional development of our members and help them make a lasting contribution to the sector,” he said.

“As well as the six scholarships available, we will again run the People’s Choice award category, which is voted for by the general public on NGS Super’s website.”

Applications for the 2015 Dedicated to the Dedicated Awards are open until 19th July, 2015.

Applications now closed

The six scholarships to the value of up to $5,000 each are awarded to teaching, support staff and management staff of non-government schools. The winning applications are selected by NGS Super’s panel of directors.

The winners need to be able to demonstrate how the award will be used to support their professional career objectives, and how their proposed program will benefit their employer.
