NGS Super passed — what was the test?

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) annual performance test, implemented for the first time this year, measures the performance, fees and costs of the MySuper (default) products provided by super funds.

This is to make sure you know that your super is being properly managed, and doing what it’s designed for — building retirement savings that will provide you a comfortable life post-work.

If your super fund has written to let you know that your super product didn’t meet the standard, you’re probably looking for other options. Welcome to NGS Super.

Last financial year, we had the strongest returns in over a decade, with 17.34%2 for our default MySuper product, and 17.81%2 for members in the retirement phase.

Low fees

Our administration fees3 are low — we haven’t increased our fees for 15 years, and all profits go to our members.

Sustainability

We’re committed to creating strong returns through responsible investing. This year, we were the first fund to set a 2030 target for a carbon-neutral investment portfolio.
