Everybody who works for NGS Super works on a guided principle to put our members at the forefront of our decision making, from our customer service team, our customer relationship managers to our management team, we are here to make sure that the decision we make today will benefit all members now and into the long term.

As Chief Executive Officer, Laura is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Fund’s operations while leading the management team in the execution of the Fund’s business strategies.

Laura was appointed as Chief Executive Officer on 26 September 2018. Laura is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Fund’s operations while leading the management team in the execution of the Fund’s business strategies.

Laura has had a long association with NGS Super being appointed as an inaugural Director in 1988, serving as a Director of the Fund until 1995, Chair in 1993-4 and for the last ten years working in the Trustee Office firstly as General Manager Operations and more recently as Senior Manager Governance.

"At NGS Super, the Finance team’s primary focus is to manage the financial performance of the Fund to assist in achieving the overarching objective of building and protecting our member’s retirement savings. This is an extremely rewarding mandate.”

Ben and his team are responsible for meeting all the Fund’s financial obligations. This includes managing and reporting on: asset valuations, unit pricing, reporting to NGS Super’s Risk, Audit and Finance Committee, working with and coordinating external service providers, year-end financial reporting, tax reporting, APRA reporting and the budget process.

Ben has overall responsibility for the Risk, Compliance and Governance Functions of NGS Super.

This involves the oversight of a decision-making and operating framework that allows the Fund to continue to focus on providing valuable services for members in an environment of good corporate governance and risk management.

Angie has overall responsibility for ensuring that we provide excellent service to our members and employers.

Angie has overall responsibility for ensuring that we provide excellent service to our members and employers.  As part of this role, she has oversight over NGS Super’s key outsourced providers and she manages and supports the customer service team which includes our superannuation advisers and financial planners.

Melissa Adam

Head of Brand and Marketing

As the Head of Brand and Marketing Melissa is responsible for the Fund’s Marketing, Communications, Sponsorships, Business Intelligence and Digital initiatives.

Melissa has ultimate oversight of all member and employer engagement related to marketing.
 
Melissa has a Bachelor of Business Communications from Queensland University of Technology, and is a certified Direct and Digital marketer and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Marketing.
 
She has over 15 years’ marketing experience, including roles at ANZ, QSuper, Telstra and JPMorgan. Appointed – September 2018.

Lynn and her team support the CEO and are responsible for developing and leading the strategic and operational people and culture components of the business.

Lynn and her team support the CEO and are responsible for developing and leading the strategic and operational people and culture components of the business.

Lynn works with the wider Management Team to identify people and culture initiatives and strategies that deliver the operational and strategic objectives of NGS Super. This includes ensuring that NGS Super maintains market viability, and attracts, retains and develops staff while meeting compliance and legislative requirements.
